Still trying to catch up!!

Cup Finals moved to VCD Athletic on this day and first up was the Len Wareham Trophy Final between FC Plasma and Mottingham Park Rangers. A late James Bell header sending the cup to FC Plasma after a superb game of football which could have been taken by either side.

The afternoon saw Bayswater RK and Welling Town go head to head for the Alliance Cup and after 120 minutes of deadlock, it was Bayswater RK who lifted the cup 7-6 on penalties.

In the Fred Jolly Cup goals from James Sutherland and Jake McIntyre gave The Oddfellows Arms a 2-0 win over Long Lane A and sees them into the Final at Tooting & Mitcham.

The Bert Holloway Cup Semi Final saw St Michaels face Division Three highfliers Abbeymead, but it was the Premier Division side who progressed to the final coming back from 2-0 down to go through 4-2. Goals from Vincent Chukwu, Adam Fahy, Jack Jolly & Billy Skinner, while James Fafiyebi scored both for Abbeymead.

The Dewar Shield Semi Final was just one step too far for Woodside Celtic who faced Premier Division leaders Eltham Phoenix B. Jon O'Mara was on target for Celtic, but goals from Jordan McTigue, William Muckle and a brace from Taylor Robinson ensured the Premier Division side faced Club Santacruzense in the Final at Tooting and Mitcham.

In the Amalgamated Lifts Limited Premier Division, clubs chasing Eltham Phoenix had a chance to make ground, but nearly all declined the offer! Long Lane B were the only side in the top half to take 3 points with a 2-1 win over Jam. Jack Edwards and Michael O'Kane cancelling out David Campbell's goal. Second placed Footscray Lions went down to a shock 8-4 defeat to Sabanoh 97, Wilson Brown, Bankole Koroma & David Noel all hitting two, while Abdul Kamara and Elliot Mensah were also on target for Sabanoh. Luke Smith, Ben Williams, Dean Warner and Gary Fowler were on target for the Lions. This left Club Santacruzense as the remaining top side who could close the gap, but a superb 4-2 win for Woolwich 90 put paid to that idea. Danny Edwards scoring twice with David Espanosa and James Noel also on target. Abel Viera and Vitor Correira for the Portuguese side. At the wrong end of the table, Orpington Eagles really had a bad day against Springhill United going down 9-1. Mitchell Row was on target for the Eagles, but Patrick Ward hit 4 & Marcus Nielson 2 with Dany Shaw, Charlie Troke and Neil Short also on target.

In the Supreme Engraving Senior Division, with the top two in Cup Action third placed Hornfair Athletic closed the gap with a 4-0 win over Phoenix Knights. Sam Bailey scoring twice, with Steven Flaherty and Brima Daramy also on target. Former leaders Eltham SF slipped to 5th with a 3-3 draw at Turk Ocagi Limasol Russellers who are steadily improving. Hamid Bangura, Evans Omobdi and N'Diri N'Dili on target for the home side, while Charlie Gaish, James Simmonds and Manny Brown were on target for SF.

The Danson Property Services Division One with leaders Long Lane A in cup action, second placed Abbey Wood sounded a warning to them smashing six without reply past Danson Albion. A hat-trick from David Bacon, plus goals from Chris Hart, Lee Lower and Tom Cirulis keeps Abbey Wood in second just two points off the leaders. Kent Wanderers are in 3rd having played two games more than the teams above them, after an 8-1 win at Junior Reds Spartans. Chris McGinty doing the main damage with 4 goals. Ricky Gould, Scott Hollingsworth and Harvey Kidd also on target. FC Forza Greenwich recorded a sound 4-1 win over Maroon XI thanks to goals from Matthew Woolf (3) and Francisco Garrigos.

Into the ABA Technical Division Two and Junior Reds Athletic are second after a 3-1 win at Bexley Athletic, Ben Malyon scoring twice with Karl Lattimore also on target. Advent Royals are 4th after recording a 4-2 win over Springhill United Reserves. Papaa kwame Owusu with a hat-trick and Derek Appiah on target, while Eltham Phoenix A recorded a 3-1 win against the side one place above them, Baldon Sports. Danny King, Joseph Webb and Mike Beddow on target for Phoenix.

In the Summerhill Music Division Three, leaders Woolwich Royals are 4 points clear at the top after a 5-1 win over Mottingham Forest. Mirjan Qenani scoring twice with further goals from Steven Armstrong, Jordan Osborne and Darren Woodvine. In third spot Eltham Lions played out a goalless draw against Vanbrugh, while AFC Kingfisher are 4th after a narrow 3-2 win over Baldon Sports Reserves. Dominik Smereczynski with a brace and Raimond Camans with the other, while Daniel Barnes scored twice for Baldon who remain second from bottom.
