In the Dewar Shield, second half goals from Andy Avery, Darren Moorcroft and a Peter Flood penalty saw Eltham Phoenix dispose of Cutty Sark (Thamesmead) 3-1. Eltham Phoenix now also travel to Club Santacruzense for a difficult Quarter Final tie. Also progressing are Woolwich 90 who beat Mottingham Park Rangers 4-1 thanks to a brace from David Espanosa along with Chisa Mkala and James Noel strikes. Woolwich 90 now face Long Lane in a mouth watering quarter final.
The Win Jones Memorial Quarter Final Match was abandoned after 75 minutes with the score 3-1 to Danson Albion, Josh Waddell, Ben Hawkes and Jack Savill on target for the home side, before a Plumstead player decided to hit the referee causing the abandonment.
In the Amalgamated Lifts Ltd Premier Division, leaders Sabanoh 97 will look back at 2 points dropped as they drew 3-3 against a resilient Springhill United side. Rashid Kamara scored twice with Wilson Brown also on target, while Patrick Ward scored two for Springhill with the 3rd courtesy of an Own Goal. A hat-trick from Jordan McTigue saw Junior Reds Seniors past New Life United 3-1, while Michael Solie, Myles Alexander and David Ottley scored for Jam in their 3-1 victory over Turk Ocagi Limassol Russellers who saw Selcuk Murat score a peach of a free-kick for them.
Three games in the Supreme Engraving Senior Division and all going the way of the away side. Bostall Old Boys Blues travelled to Junior Reds Spartans and goals from Peter Tyrell and Adam Williams gave them a 2-1 win. Woolwich Spartans went to Eltham SF and won by the same score, thanks to an Adam Roberts brace, while Phoenix Knights travelled to Maroon XI and went one better with a 3-1 win. Corbin Blackie, Andrew Ridgers and Aidan Fernandes scoring the goals.
In Division One, leaders Old Roan Red Lions did their title chances no harm, sending FC Plasma home with their tails between their legs in a 7-3 win. Tom Taylor was tormentor in-chief scoring 4 goals, while Giles Wilmore (2), George Stuart and Zak Callaghan also on target. David Bacon, Joe Fullman and Michael Cooper were on target as Abbey Wood overcame Woodside Celtic 3-1. Bradley Shepherd scored two along with Radwan Aman, Danny Rogers and Roy Wheeler as Baldon Sports beat Woolwich Royals by the odd goal in 9 while Owen Jeavons score =d twice as Teviot Rangers beat New London 2-1. In the final game Bexley Athletic and Royal Arsenal shared 4 goals and the points with Elton Lewis hitting both of Bexley's goals. Nothing recorded for Royal Arsenal.
Division Two a hat-trick for Meridian Sports Ryan Norris was not enough as 2 goals from Conor Mansfield, and strikes from Enoch Charway and Ryan McDermott saw the second placed side leave with all the points. Another hat-trick from Chris McGinty plus two from Wilfred Penmeni saw leaders Kent Wanderers come back from 3-1 down at half time to beat Springhill Reserves 6-3. Goals from Lewis Blenkinsop, Raimond Camans and Danny Nicholls saw AFC Kingfisher confine Vanbrugh to a 3-2 defeat. Borussia Heath 15 beat Lessa FXI 5-3 thanks to goals from Thomas Williams (2), David Hathrill and David McGrath (2). Junior Reds Athletic, got back to business after their surprise defeat last week with a shock result of their own. Travelling to Sutcliffe Rangers and smacking them 8-1. James Beasley and Paul Christodoulou both scoring twice for the Reds. The biggest win of the week goes to Bayswater RK who demolished Mottingham Forest 9-0.
