Week 21 Round Up - Sunday 3 February 2019

Ice was the problem this week, with pitches having barely recovered from the dusting of snow during the week, the temperatures dropped over the weekend, leading to the week’s fixtures being decimated.

A few games survived and in the Amalgamated Lifts Limited Premier Division, goals from Jake McIntyre and Alfie Norman, closed the gap between second placed The Oddfellows Arms and Welling Town A at the top to 6 points after the former recorded a 2-0 win at Footscray Lions who drop to fourth. Leapfrogging them were Jam who provided the best goal mouth action of the week, with a 5-3 win over Woolwich 90 at Mottingham Playing Fields. Richard Akinlade with a hat-trick doing the main damage, along with strikes from Reion McFarlane and Niven Nkanash. Danny Edwards scored twice for Woolwich with Chisa Mkala also on target. At the other end of the table Burrage Blues are finally off the foot of the table after a 2-1 win at Sabanoh 97, Richard Outerridge and Jay Jervis with the goals.

One game survived in the Supreme Engraving Senior Division, which sees Under the Radar up to 3rd just 3 points off top spot with a battling 3-2 win over Mottingham Forest. Jedidiah Brown and Thomas Ngegba among the goals for YTR, while Matt Tibby and Reece Williams were on target for Forest.

Just the one game in the Danson Property Services Division One as well as Mottingham Park Rangers secure a 2-1 win over Bostall Rangers thanks to goals from Justin Gould and Esmail El Khabaz to cement their second place in the division. James Purkiss with the strike for Bostall who remain 6th.

Nothing was played in the ABA Technical Division Two so onto the Summerhill Music Division Three and goals galore at Charlton Park as Lessa FXI overcame bottom of the league AFC Sporting Greenwich by the odd goal in seven. Hasan Gunduz, Richard Williams & Keith Miller among the goals for Lessa FXI while James Lee struck twice and Elliot McCloskey once for AFC Sporting Greenwich leaving Sporting still one point adrift at the bottom of the league. Vanbrugh and Seven Acre shared the spoils courtesy of a 1-1 draw to remain 8th & 7th respectively. Richard Jerman and William Brown on target.

On Thursday 7th February, Springhill United Reserves and Eltham Lions faced each other and a Ryan Norris strike kept Eltham Lions 100% league record intact with a 1-0 win.
