A juicy Quarter Final tie against Sanderstead (Croydon Municipal Sunday League) or league leaders Welling Town A awaits. Progressing by the same score are FC Royals against SEL. Dean Carpenter, Donovan James, Richard Mohan, Matthew Newman, Douane West and Stefan Jones all on target to set up a 3rd round tie against Metropolitan League side Lullingstone, who progressed themselves after Palace St Germain of the Croydon Municipal League withdrew.
In the Bert Holloway Cup saw Bostall Rangers march on, thanks to a 5-2 win over FC Plasma. Two goals a piece from Gary Carr and Adam Williams along with a Daniel Hassett goal for Rangers to set up a Quarter Final tie against Russellers.
While Russellers continue to contest the Bert Holloway Cup, the Fred Jolly Cup run is over bowing out 4-1 to Blackfen United. Glen Bannell with a hat-trick, for Blackfen, while Craig Newell was on target for Russellers. Blackfen now face Mottingham Park Rangers or South East Athletic Maroon.
Two goals a piece from Edi Borges and Michael Fenn helped Bayswater RK past Catford Wanderers 6-0 in the Peter Smith Cup, Emal Nurja and Ryan Styles with the other goals. Bayswater now face Sabanoh 97 in the Quarter Finals.
Goals from Lewis Togwell and Ben Walker secured a 2-1 for Baldon Sports Reserves at Seven Acre Sports to set up a Semi Final tie against Springhill United Reserves in the Leader Cup. Harry Kenward was the scorer for Seven Acre.
In the Amalgamated Lifts Limited Premier Division, The Oddfellows Arms opened a gap of 3 points in second place over Footscray Lions with a 2-0 win over 4th placed Jam. Footscray Lions remain 3rd despite going down 3-2 to bottom of the table Burrage Blues. William Muckey and Matthew Knuckey with the goals for Footscray while no goalscorers on Full Time for Burrage so no credit. Welling Town A get the points after Woolwich 90 failed to field a side in their fixture.
In the Supreme Engraving Senior Division, third placed Springhill United closed the gap on second placed Erith Athletic with a 4-1 win. Marcus Neilson with two goals, Aaron Miller and Daniel Quarshie also on target. 4th placed Long Lane remain hot on their tales after a 4-2 win over Turk Ocagi Limasol Russellers, Ryan Brown with a brace, Grant Duff and Stuart Berry with one a piece, Carl Obitey scored twice for TOL as both sides finished with 10 men. Under the Radar are in 5th not being left behind after a 3-1 win at South East Athletic Maroon. Jedidiah Brown, Toby Brown and Thomas Ngegba with the goals for UTR, Chris Rostek with the strike for SEA Maroon. Mottingham Forest and Orpington Eagles shared 6 goals and the points. Matt Benaron, Connor Ives & Conor Maloney for Forest with Liam Clubb-Cannon, Dominic Grace and John Richards for the Eagles.
In the Danson Property Services Division One, Welling Town lost just their second match of the season, to second placed Mottingham Park Rangers. Justin Gould, Stuart Jordeson & Louis Raven doing the damage, with Russell Hodges on target for Welling who are now 11 points clear of Mottingham at the top of the table. With Junior Reds Athletic not playing, South East Lads move level on points in 4th spot after a narrow 2-1 win over Woolwich Spartans. No credit for their scorers, but Nicholas Joel with the consolation for Spartans. Phoenix Knights are in 5th after a 1-1 draw with 7th placed FC Forza Greenwich. Lewis Hudson was on target for Phoenix, with Charlie Payne on target for Forza.
In the ABA Technical Division Two, with the top 3 not in league action., Woolwich Royals closed the gap in 4th with a 4-1 win over Bexley Wanderers. Steven Armstrong, Yavor Hristov, Jack Reed and Mirjan Qenani with the goals for Woolwich. Danson Albion are 5th after a 2-2 draw with Bexley Athletic who saw Alejandro Diaz De Cerio sent off for handball after denying a goalscoring opportunity. Rio Douglas was on target for Bexley while Alex Potter and Jon Wayment were on target for Danson.
In the Summerhill Music Division Three, an Alan Said goal saw 9th placed Vanbrugh inflict the first league defeat of the season on leaders AFC Kingfisher, and with 2nd placed Orpington Eagles Reserves game off, Peckham Rye in 3rd place missed the chance to close the gap going down 2-0 at home to Eltham Lions, who are in 4th spot but with a 100% record and 5 games in hand on the teams directly above them thanks to their cup exploits this season. Ryans Norris & Hobson were the scorers for Eltham. Lessa FXI are in 5th spot after goals from Hassan Gunduz, Jordan Hector and Colin Witt gave them a 3-0 win over Heath.
