We would like to invite all non-WESFA teams to enter the Plumstead Challenge Cup (PCC) for the coming season. The PCC has been running since 1930, and has potential to be the largest non-County Cup Competition in London. Last season the final was contested between Long Lane of WESFA and Baldon Sports of the London & Kent Suburban League, with Long Lane coming out on top.
Recent seasons have seen entries from the LKSL, Croydon Municipal Sunday League and the Hackney & Leyton Sunday League. All proceeds from this competition go to local charities, with the main beneficiary being the Bexley & Greenwich Hospice.
Entries are invited from all Sunday League sides as long as you have permission of your parent league. Entry is £20. We are aware that LKSL, CMSL and Hackney & Leyton Sunday League have allowed teams to enter in recent years and it is our belief that the Metropolitan Sunday League will consider applicants this season.
Bottom Line, we will accept applicants from most leagues within a reasonable distance, as long as your league are happy with it.
Could it be your clubs name on this historic trophy this coming season?
We have 11 external spaces available. You have to be in it to win it!
