Week 17 - Sunday 17 December 2017

Headlines of the week go to New London FC of the Supreme Engraving Senior Division who made the journey to Flamengo FC in the London Sunday Junior Cup and progress 3-2. 

In the Presidents Cup, Club Santacruzense de Londres progress to a Semi Final against Long Lane B with a bad tempered 2-1 win over Orpington Eagles, with both sides having players dismissed. 

In the Win Jones Memorial Bowl, goals galore at Oxford Road as The Oddfellows Arms beat Blackfen United 8-4. Richie Hamill & Edward Penfold both hit braces, while Coy Hardy, James Sutherland, Ben Eagles & Luke Gray were also on target. The Oddfellows progress to a Semi Final against New London or Bostall Old Boys. 

The Alliance Cup sees Maroon XI hit Junior Reds Spartans for 5, Dan Lott hitting a hattrick, with Liam Spicer and Pod Biggane also on target. The game between Teviot Rangers & Kent Wanderers was postponed. 

In the Leader Trophy, Yavor Hristov hit the only goal as Woolwich Royals progress to the Semi Final at the expense of Abbeymead. Heath or Baldon Sports Reserves await. 

In the Amalgamated Lifts Limited Premier Division, Tom Rush helped Long Lane B to the top of the table with a 2-1 win against Woolwich 90. Frank Atkins on target for Woolwich. Footscray Lions are up to 4th spot after a Luke Smith goal gave them a 1-0 win over Jam. 

In the Supreme Engraving Senior Division, Eltham SF spend the holiday period at the top of the table after a 4-2 win over Woodside Celtic. Bradley Killick and Alexandru Loan Bobeica on target for Woodside, but no goalscorer details available for Eltham SF. 

FC Forza Greenwich are up to 4th in the Danson Property Services Division One with a 3-1 win over Danson Albion. 

In the ABA Technical Division Two, there were 3 games with the winners of each all scoring 5. The biggest victory though must be for FC Plasma who rose to the top of the Christmas tree with a 5-1 win over Mottingham Park Rangers. Two goals a piece from Jamie Southin and Aaron Feagan along with Joe Perry's goal made up for Lorri Jeffrey's early red card. Stuart Jordeson was on target for Rangers. Bexley Athletic beat Advent Royals by the same score, with a brace from Elton Lewis, plus goals from Renell George, Tom Woolf and Kaylan Hussein. Finally Baldon Sports hit 5 without reply against Thamesmead, Harley Rauch (2), Hamid Bellout, Marcus Johnson and Paul Joy with the goals. 

In the Summerhill Music Division Three, Will Stent scored the only goal as AFC Kingfisher go 2nd with the only goal against Vanbrugh.
