Well we usually start with County Cup matches but the headline of the week this week must go to Division One Bexley Athletic in the Plumstead Challenge Cup. Hosting 3rd placed Premier Division side Orpington Eagles, a stubborn performance from Bexley and a missed penalty took the match to extra-time, where the first division side progress 5-3. Orpington had Mitchell Row scoring a brace, with Nathan Hunter netting from the spot, but the heroes this week were from Bexley, for whom goals from Adam Pettitt, Paul Corbett (2) and Renell George (2) including a 5th from 45 yards as Orpington pressed for a equaliser see them progress to round 2 and a home tie against Bostall Old Boys. Elsewhere in the Plumstead Challenge Cup, AFC Croydon Town failed to show for their match at New London. The committee will sit on this one.
